Our partner EATRIS has recently released its first Gender Equality Plan (2022-2023). This plan was developed by an internal taskforce (4 EATRIS staff members) with support from an external human resources consultant and the EATRIS Management Team.
The plan addresses the five action areas of gender equality recommended by the European Commission.
Addressing the challenges associated with promoting equality between women and men in research infrastructures clearly benefits research and innovation by improving quality and relevance, helping to attract and retain talent, and maximising staff potential.
The implementation of the Gender Equality Plan will be the first step at the organisational level!
