    This EOSC-Life / de.NBI workshop teaches participants how to use the open-source software WESkit to implements the Workflow Execution Service (WES) API defined by the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH). Participants will execute Nextflow and Snakemake workflows locally or in remote (HPC) environments. These also provide extensive logging capabilities and a user management system, plus support high data throughput, stability, and security.

     

    The software can be found at https://gitlab.com/one-touch-pipeline/weskit

    Participants will be encouraged to set up their own WESkit instance and use it to submit both Nextflow and Snakemake workflows.

    Tools: Bash, Conda /mamba, Docker
