Data produced within clinical research settings are still far from being FAIR. To address this issue, ECRIN and the University of Oslo (UiO) are currently creating a COVID-19 clinical research repository as part of EOSC-Life WP14.
The first section of the D14.2 report describes how the repository functions, split between its two main systems: the TSD infrastructure, operated by UiO, and the Repository Management System (RMS), developed by ECRIN.
The RMS has been designed to support and record the workflows associated with managing the repository and its interactions with providers, secondary users and requesters.
The second section of the report describes the two systems and their interface to support the repository’s activity in detail, including the AAI infrastructure that will be used and shared by both the RMS and the TSD. Finally, the validation strategy is outlined that is currently applied to the RMS and to the new, repository-specific elements of the TSD.
