All around the world, FAIR Principles are being endorsed as excellent guides for data policy actions and professional practices in both public and private sectors. But practical guidance on how to apply these principles is still lacking.
For this reason, researchers and data management professionals in academia, pharmaceutical companies, and information service industries, created the FAIR Cookbook, an online resource of hands-on recipes for “FAIR doers” in the Life Sciences.
Now, a preprint of the FAIR Cookbook is available that covers the key steps in a FAIRification journey, the levels and indicators of FAIRness, the maturity model, the technologies, the tools and the standards available, as well as the skills required, and the challenges to achieve and improve data FAIRness!
