FAIRsharing announces their New Community Curation Programme

FAIRsharing is actively seeking Community Curators across all subject areas (Engineering, Natural Sciences, and Humanities and the Social Sciences)

Under the auspices of RDA Europe and EOSC Future, FAIRsharing is announcing our new Community Curation Programme. We are actively seeking community curators across all subject areas (Engineering, Natural Sciences, and Humanities and the Social Sciences). This programme creates a collaborative environment where domain experts are selected to oversee certain areas within the FAIRsharing registry in return for a number of professional benefits. This work is linked to the RDA / EOSC Future Domain Ambassador call, which is intended to create conduits of communication and outreach among the RDA, EOSC Future, and the communities of which each ambassador is a part.

As the RDA / EOSC Future Domain Ambassador for standards, repositories and policies, Allyson Lister (our FAIRsharing Content & Community Lead) is creating a network of community curators who will “champion” their domain of interest. More information is available in our recent news items on the Community Curation Programme and the RDA / EOSC Future Ambassadorship. You can register your interest via this short form, and get in touch with us if you have any questions. Please share this announcement to those people and communities that might find it of interest.
