    Launch of LS Login


    On 11 April 2022 WP5 launched Life Science Login, a common user authentication and authorisation service for the LS research infrastructures. ELIXIR AAI was simultaneously migrated to LS Login.

    On 11 April 2022 WP5 launched Life Science Login, a common user authentication and authorisation service for the LS research infrastructures. ELIXIR AAI was simultaneously migrated to LS Login.

    Users can now use their home organization credentials or community or other identities (e.g. Google, Linkedin, LS username) to sign in and access data and services connected to LS Login. It also allows service providers (both in academia and industry) to control and manage access rights of their users and create different access levels for research groups or international projects.

    The ELIXIR AAI user community (was already) has been migrated into LS Login and other research infrastructure’sAAIs (BBMRI-ERIC, Instruct ARIA) will be migrated in following months.
