    Two Data Challenges Launched by French Health Data Hub


    Face the challenge to battle melanoma and allergic reactions!

    EOSC-Life partners and other interested individuals are warmly invited to take part in two Data Challenges addressing various health issues, which have been launched by the French Data Hub.

    These challenges are an opportunity  for data scientists to use their skills on new databases, with a € 25,000 award for the winners.

    Challenge 1: “VisioMel Melanoma Relapse Challenge”

    • Prediction of melanoma relapse within 5 years after initial diagnosis

    This Data Challenge organised by the VisioMel consortium has been launched to support the search for new predictive markers of relapse for primary non-metastatic melanoma using artificial intelligence.

    Challenge 2: “Allergen Chip Challenge”

    • Detect allergens and their combinations responsible for allergic reactions and their severity”

    This collaborative project led by the French Society of Allergology (SFA) focuses on personalised medicine by exploring the antibody profile (immunoglobulin E) developed by each patient in response to their environment. The project aim is to improve and facilitate allergy diagnosis.
