This builds upon the EGA, jointly delivered by EMBL’s European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) in the UK and the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Spain with support from EOSC-Life partner ELIXIR and the “la Caixa” Foundation. ELIXIR promoted this advance through the Federated Human Data Community and coordinated efforts at EGA Nodes. The federated EGA will support the discovery and improve the access to sensitive data across national boundaries.
